Karnataka School Education Board is going to announce from Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (KAR - TET) Notification 2017 Candidates can apply for KARTET-2017 ‘ONLINE’ throughwww.schooleducation.kar.nic.in website w.e.f. 2017. This year the application for KARTET- 2017 has been made completely On Line with the facility to upload photograph and signature of the applicant. The particulars should be filled online and the scanned images of photograph and signature (in JPG format only) will be uploaded at the time of filling the application form. The candidates are advised to keep the scanned images of photograph and signature of the candidates ready in JPG format before applying On Line.

Karnataka School Education Board is going to conduct the Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (KAR - TET) Exam very shortly. Interested Candidates can apply On line’ through KARTET’s website www.schooleducation.kar.nic.in. The candidate should provide all details while filling the Online Form and upload their scanned images of photograph & signature. KAR TET 2017 Eligibility Criteria 

Teacher for Classes I-V - Primary Stage – Paper - I - PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR B.A / B.Sc Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

Teacher for Classes VI- VIII - Elementary Stage – Paper - II - B.A / B.Sc Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).   • Read the instructions to apply and procedure for submission of on-line Application Form carefully. At the end of this page, following four links to apply online are given
  • Fill in the on-line application “REGISTRATION” Part-1.
  • Next Step is “LOGIN” for application to furnish the “Personal Details” by using the “User Name” and “Password” which are already messaged to your Mobile Number
  • Next step is “Generate Challan” after completing of the “Personal Details”
  • Make payment of fee through download Challan for payment in the designated accounts of State Bank of Mysore
  • Fill in the on-line Application Form furnishing the details of fee deposited

Educational Qualification - Should be an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Additional qualification of Law Degree (LLB) / Chartered Accountant (CA)/ Institute of Cost and Works Accountants (ICWA) and professional experience is desirable along with proficiency in Computer.

Mode of Selection - Based on the applications received, eligible candidates will be called for Written Test, Personal interview (including PPT on subject matter) in two stages and scrutiny of documents with the original certificates. The selection process would judge different facets of knowledge, communication skills, comprehension, aptitude and physical fitness. Candidates will have to pass through all the screening process and Medical Examination before being adjudged as suitable for selection. Candidate with all clear records and as per merit will be called for prescribed medical examination. The success in the selection process does not confer any right to appointment unless the Corporation is satisfied after such an inquiry, as may be considered necessary, that the candidate having regards to his/ her character and antecedents is suitable in all respects for appointment to the service. The selected and medically fit candidate will be provisionally appointed based on the merit position. Candidate so selected will be kept on probation for a period of 2 years. Selected candidate will be required to submit Indemnity Bond and complete all recruitment formalities as prescribed. Selected candidate will be governed by all rules and regulations and service conditions as applicable to all other regular employees of KRCL

Medical Examination - The candidates will have to pass the prescribed medical examination as decided by the Management and to be conducted at the candidate’s cost by Konkan Railway Corporation’s Medical Authorities. The medically fit candidates will only be considered for employment in KRCL. No alternative job will be provided if a candidate selected for a particular category fails to qualify in the prescribed medical test of that category/post.

Education Qualification

Village Revenue Officer (VRO) - Must have passed Intermediate Examination conducted by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Examination or its equivalent Examination
