Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is Announce Employment Notification for Assistant Director In A.P. Economics And Statistical Service (General Recruitment), The proforma Application will be available on Commission’s Website www.psc.ap.gov.in or www.appscapplications17.apspsc.gov.in from 29/12/2016 to 28/01/2017(Note:28/01/2017 is the last date for payment of fee up- to 11:59 mid night).
Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register his/her bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission Website viz.www.psc.ap.gov.inor www.appscapplications17.apspsc.gov.in Once applicant registers his / her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR User ID through Commission’s website.
The Commission conducts Screening test in Off - Line mode in case applicants exceed 25,000 in number and main examination in On-Line mode for candidates selected in screening test. If the screening test is to be held, the date of screening test will be communicated through Commission’s Website. All desirous and eligible applicants shall apply through Online after satisfying themselves that they are eligible as per the terms and conditions of this recruitment notification. Age Limit - No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment if he/she is less than 18 years of age and if he/she is more than 42 years of age as on 01/07/2016.
Scale of Pay - Rs.37,100 – 91,450
Educational Qualification - Must possess Post Graduate Degree in one of the Subjects of Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Statistics, Economics with Statistics, Pure Economics, Applied Economics, Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics or Computer Science from a recognized University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any other recognized equivalent qualification
Fee - Applicant must pay Rs. 250/- towards application processing fee and Rs 120/- towards Examination Fee.
Centres for The On-Line Examination - The Examination will be held at VIJAYAWADA (or) GUNTUR only. However the Commission reserves the right to allot the applicant to any centre or duly creating a new center for administrative reasons of examination depending on the availability of the resources like centres / systems.
Procedure Of Selection - The Final Selection Of Candidates For Appointment to The Posts Shall be Based on The Merit in The Computer Based Main Examination,
